🌿 Pond Dipping
Discover the Wildlife Beneath the Surface
Pond Dipping sessions at Frylands Wood take place at our man-made pond, located just past the Crew Hut.
This hands-on nature activity gives participants the opportunity to explore the fascinating wildlife living in and around the pond.
Using nets, participants gently collect, observe and identify pond creatures before safely returning them to the water.
For the session, we provide:
- Pond dipping nets
- Shallow observation trays
- Wildlife identification cards
