🪢 Pioneering
Build, Create & Work Together
Pioneering sessions at Frylands Wood take place on the Archway Field, located between Pembroke One and the campfire circle.
This hands-on activity challenges participants to design and build self-supporting structures using poles, rope and other construction materials. From simple frameworks to ambitious creations such as catapults and towers, Pioneering encourages creativity, teamwork and practical problem-solving.
Groups may use traditional staves and rope or experiment with lighter materials such as bamboo canes and elastic bands.
